A Bit About Me
Whitley Thomas is a government affairs professional with WT Consultants, where she plays a key role in advancing client priorities across municipal and state government. Her work spans appropriations requests, legislative drafting, public and community relations, special projects, criminal justice reform, and economic development initiatives. She is recognized for her ability to navigate complex policy landscapes while building strong relationships with stakeholders and decision-makers.
Before joining WT Consultants, Whitley held leadership positions on multiple electoral campaigns, where she gained hands-on experience in strategy, coalition building, and grassroots engagement. With more than four years of experience, she has developed a reputation for combining policy expertise with a deep understanding of community needs.
Beyond her professional achievements, Whitley is dedicated to service. She sits on the Board of the Red Cross of Mississippi and actively volunteers with several nonprofits throughout the Jackson metro area. A proud graduate of Tougaloo College, she holds a Bachelor of Arts degree and continues to champion efforts that drive equity, opportunity, and positive change across Mississippi.
